Hello everyone, I am Kavitha from Chennai, India. I always had a creative flair n love colouring a lot from my school days. I also keep doing small craft works during summer holidays with my cousins. I stumbled upon paper crafting when I started blogging few years back and blown away by the talent I came across the world, which inspired me to take paper crafting seriously. I love trying something new all the time and that doesn't allow me to stay with a particular style or art form for long. From fine arts to crafts I have tried my hands on lots of things, and my latest obsession is mixed media. I love mixed media more as it inspires me to create without any restriction, fulfils my love for playing with colours and to use all thing pretty.

My creations are inspired by colours, my style is more of clean and cluttered with a touch of shabby chic or vintage, but I love trying different styles from time to time. My creative journey was rewarding n fulfilling all the time but mixed media n blogging gave me a new high, I have had opportunity to design for some of the leading brands both in India and International for past one year and I learnt a lot along the way. When it comes to paper crafts/mixed media the first thing I love using is pretty pattern papers. I am a paperholic n hoard lots of them. Initially when I started off 3-4 years back it was very difficult to get pattern papers in India, I remember using gift wrap papers for my cards… lol! But now not only everything is easily available in India, there are some awesome companies which started producing beautiful papers n stamps with international standard. CrafTangles has some beautiful paper line n it’s a pleasure to work with beautiful Made in India papers.

Tanaya Deshpande

Hi Guys,

I am a CS Engineer by degree and passionate about art and craft.

I got introduced to craft in late 2014.I was surfing the internet to search something creative to gift one of my friends and came across pattern papers/scrapbooking/stamps/stencils. What inspires me about paper crafting is the creativity part and till date, every day has been a new learning for me in this field. I love CrafTangles because of their wonderful paper designs and when I got an opportunity to join their design team, I was super excited as I wanted to play my part in taking crafts to new level with ‘Made in India’ products. It is really a very proud feeling.

Guest Designers

Jasleen Kaur

Hello! I'm Jasleen and I feel so happy to be invited over at CraftAdda blog as a Guest Designer. I’m basically from Nagpur and currently residing at Pune with my husband and a daughter. I started my crafting and blogging journey three years ago when I accidentally stumbled upon some beautiful handmade cards while surfing the internet. Quilling was the very first art form I got hooked to, then gradually learnt and tried some new techniques and crafts. Card-making and quilling are what I enjoy the most, and I'm more inclined towards clean and simple, minimalist style of card-making. I mostly draw my inspiration from the simple things I come across in day-to-day life, and when I need to recharge my mind with a creative dose of inspiration, visiting blogs of other card-makers and crafters helps a lot.

You can view more of my work on my blog Happily Ever Crafter or my Instagram Account. Thank you Team CraftAdda for this amazing opportunity. I look forward to working with the awesome CraftTangles products and hopefully inspire you all with my ideas.

Rashmi Jajodiya

Hello, first of all I would like to CraftAdda team for this opportunity.

I am a graduate in Commerce and have completed my PG in Computer Management.

Since childhood Drawing and Craft is something I always like to do and Crafting is like an energy booster for me.

2 years ago, after completing my studies I got time to get involved in my hobbies again and I started making useful things from waste material available at home and some cards. At that time, I didn't know that this will lead me to an amazingly beautiful journey in this beautiful craft industry.

You can say me a 'self-taught crafter' as I have never attended any professional classes till now but learned few basic things from YouTube and Google. I design what and how I like! Always follow your creative mind while crafting, that is the best source of inspiration, I BELIEVE :)
