Handcarved stamps

Hey all!

You may know that I have recently discovered the technique of handcarving stamps, and am now obsessed by it!( I dream of designs to carve!!!)

So, for my official Craft adda post today, I have two cards which I have made using two handcarved stamps that I made today.

To make this gorgeous feather stamp, I followed this tutorial by the fabulously talented Geninne who never fails to inspire!

I stamped the feathers onto cardstock using Versafine, Memento and Adirondack inks. I then cut out three feathers and affixed them along with some raffia for detail and pop. The sentiment is from Verses rubber stamps.

For my second card I used a stamp which I carved; a design which is inspired by Gond Art from Central India.
I made two panels so that I could stamp them together to create a background. I love the way the panels come together to form a circle!
Inks used are from Versafine; Sentiment is from Verses rubber stamps and Hero Arts.

Have a good night!
